How long will it take for my order to get here?
- Our handmade, hand-printed apparel items, like tees, cropped hoodies, and crew fleece and pullovers, typically take 1-2 weeks to complete, though some may ship sooner. Since each piece is made to order in our home workshop in Virginia, some items may require the full turnaround time. During holidays or busy seasons, production may extend by a few extra days to a week. Please note, we are unable to rush orders for our handmade items, as everything is crafted with care and by hand. Custom orders may take 7 to 20 business days. Thank you for your patience!
Can you make custom designs?
- We invite you to share your design ideas with us, and we'll explore what's possible. The cost will depend on the complexity and time required for the design. Designs for both the front and back will incur additional charges. If you already have a custom design, we're eager to print it on apparel for you. For more information, please get in touch with us. Kindly be aware that Heart & Hive Designs retains all rights to designs and may choose to make custom designs available to the public at our discretion. Charges for custom work will not be reimbursed if the design becomes public.

What do I do if my package is lost?
- We apologize for this inconvenience. Our packages are shipped with delivery confirmation and tracking. Once marked as "delivered," Heart & Hive Designs will not be held accountable for packages that go missing due to theft, postal errors, or delays. Please check with your neighbors to see if the package was mistakenly delivered to them. We suggest reaching out to the delivery service for assistance, as they can track the package's location via GPS. If you suspect the package has been stolen, we advise filing a police report, as mail theft is considered a crime.
Can I exchange or return items?

What if my item is damaged or has issues?
- Upon receiving your order, please inspect the items and promptly contact us if you find any defects, damage, or discrepancies. We will assess the situation and address it accordingly. Please note that replacements will not be issued for items that have been worn or used post-purchase. Ensure that you follow the provided garment care instructions accurately, as we cannot replace items that have been improperly washed or handled.
Can I cancel my order?
- You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placement. As a made-to-order shop, each item is custom printed at our Virginia home workshop. If production has not begun on your item, we may be able to help. For assistance, please contact us at hello@heartandhivedesigns.com.
What if I send my package to the wrong address?
- Please ensure the shipping address is accurate at checkout, as it is the buyer's responsibility to provide the correct details. Should the address be incorrect, the buyer must intercept the package at their own expense. Heart & Hive Designs is not liable if the package cannot be traced or intercepted. In such cases, the buyer must repurchase the products and submit the correct address. If a package is returned for any reason and the address was correct, the buyer is responsible for the additional shipping fees for resending the package.
Can I change my size after the order has been placed?
